CAMBER COMPENSATOR
- Helps prevent the outer rear wheel from tucking in (folding up) during aggressive cornering that can result in loss of control and possible rollover.
- Designed specifically for those older Volkswagen vehicles (with swing-axle rear suspension) that can't accommodate an anti-sway bar
- Improves handling and control to increase driving safety
- Camber compensator is a steel leaf spring equipped with polyurethane axle pads on the outside of each end. The spring mounts to the bottom of the transmission (bracket and polyurethane pivot bushing included). Axle pads fit snugly against the bottom of the axle tubes. Won't stiffen up ride—stock riding characteristics are retained. Kit includes hardware and instructions. For these Volkswagens: '60-68 Type I Beetles and Karmann Ghias; '60-67 Type II Transporters with Type I engine. Note: Will not fit Volkswagens with independent rear suspension.
